What to do if you find an orphaned animal?

    Look for adult parents in the vicinity

    Look for other young animals

  • 3
    Look for a suitable nesting site

    If possible, return the young to the nest. The parents will continue to care for their young even if handled by humans!

    If the animal is truly an orphan

    Place it in a warm, dark box and remember that it needs warmth, darkness, and quietness
